As humans we suffer from old conditioning patterns that lead to belief systems we’ve outgrown. During this time of spiritual evolution, we yearn to connect with the Self, others and our world with compassion and integrity.

Using meditation, self-inquiry, felt sense, and ancient prayer practices, we will be led into a higher consciousness. Through this exploring and self-discovery together, we experience clarity and heart-centered wisdom. Clearing the space within moves us towards this new energy.

through Shamanism

A weekend basic shamanism workshop led by Debra Morrill

June 9-10, 2012

Saturday, June 9 from 9 am - 9 pm

Sunday, June 10 from 9 am - 4 pm

From the beginning of time, indigenous cultures on every continent shared a shamanic spiritual view. Our forebears lived close to the earth, deeply in tune with her cycles and seasons, the elements and nature. In this connection, they found their spirituality. They believed that every living being had a spirit – not just people, but also animals, trees, stones, and plants. They commonly traveled into the spirit realm to communicate and interact with power animals, spirit guides and nature spirits. Through exploring the basics of shamanism, we can rekindle our connection to the divine and develop our ability to communicate directly with Spirit to receive guidance on our spiritual path. This is a foundational class for future shamanic workshops.

In this two-day experiential workshop, you will:

gain comfort with accessing divine wisdom through the shamanic journey and explore the shamanic realms by journeying to the Lower and Upper Worlds
meet a power animal and a spirit teacher to serve as guides in the spirit world
practice a method of divination with natural objects and connect with nature spirit
participate in a fire ceremony to release and transform energy
experiment with the shamanic sounds of drumming, rattling and singing

No prior experience necessary. This workshop is appropriate for all experience levels.

Debra Morrill, B.A., has a shamanic healing practice in Prairie du Sac, WI. She specializes in soul retrieval, ancestral healing, and helping clients connect with their inner wisdom for healing. She leads a nine-part ancestral healing circle, a seven-month journey through the chakras, and a series of two-hour energy clearing sessions. Cost for the two-day basic shamanism workshop:

$195 with early registration by June 1 –OR– $230 after June 1.

Lunch on Saturday and Sunday is included in the workshop fee. Dinner on Saturday evening is potluck style before the evening fire ceremony and celebration.

(Lodging is not included in the workshop fee.)
